Responsibilities:
• Conduct geological / geophysical interpretation and analysis using appropriate techniques and technologies to provide world class solutions for the client.
• Provide geological / geophysical input to multi-disciplinary projects, from frontier exploration through discovery appraisal to field development and production.
• Lead the team of 3-6 people. Manage execution of G&G parts of projects.
• Manage projects and project teams acting as the principal point of contact for the client, maintaining frequent contact with the client and ensuring adherence to timescales and budgets.
• Support colleagues by assisting them with their geoscience knowledge.
• Mentor the development of less experienced geoscience colleagues.
• Present data and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team. This requires excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Advise clients on geoscience matters, often at a senior level.
• Assist the new business development team as required.
• Attend conferences and forums as needed and serve as an ambassador for GCA.
Skill Requirements:
• Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, petroleum geology, geophysics, core&logs, static modeling.
• Ability to conduct geological, petrophysical study and analysis, geo-modeling independently and working in team.
• Ability to utilize subsurface Software, including Petrel/Roxar RMS, Kingdom, Humpson Russell, Techlog
• Excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results, action orientated, ethical with a strong client focus
• Good project management skills. Ability to manage teamwork and delivery of reservoir engineering and production enhancement parts of projects
• Ability to advise clients on geoscience matters and provide solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• English language – Upper intermediate

Education/Experience:
• Master/engineering Degree in Geology/Geoscience, or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Fluent English
